I also used 11 eggs. It turned out PERFECT. Thanks so much for helping this newbie out with these recipes!
CindyM/Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09848570519535936196noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4315938567260756099.post-47047630675243283362009-10-23T09:22:00.912-07:002009-10-23T09:22:00.912-07:00Mark-

Anyway, we had some friends make us some "no knead bread" the other week and it's amazing stuff! It's baked in the oven in a DO. Just wanted to send you a shout out to try it.Benhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08749405401812931095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4315938567260756099.post-51682367587112322202009-10-22T06:27:03.727-07:002009-10-22T06:27:03.727-07:00I have to agree with the others, Trese. Cooking in cold, wet, windy weather is difficult for any cook... and you pulled it off the first time. Kudos to you all that way!

Mark, you just rock. Never discount your abilities... you were a DO chef to begin with, it just took this event to help you realize.

Keep practicing, attend some cookoffs and when you are ready, compete... it is SO fun.

Mark, thanks for sharing this really cool story.3leftturnshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16242638673034519572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4315938567260756099.post-22113630210678841922009-10-21T11:51:38.684-07:002009-10-21T11:51:38.684-07:00This is a great story. There's nothing like being forced to become a DO expert by other people who think you are a DO expert.

To go along with this recipe, my favorite way to serve this, which I learned by assigning one of my Scouts to cook it and it's how he served it, is with tortillas. So it becomes a breakfast burrito, basically. This is ideal for campouts and other places that you don't want to deal with plates to clean up or dispose of.robmbahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07483459468274711568noreply@blogger.com
